Personality/Background: Kilier-Kahu was born in New Zealand to a Maori mother and a white skinned New Zealander father. Her grandfather, the chief of her mother's tribe accepted the union of his daughter to an 'outsider' but only on the condition that his grandchildren be given a reminder that they have Maori ancestry and a place within the Maori people. Due to this condition, Kilier and her two brothers were marked with traditional ta Moko (Maori tattoos) that represented who they were and where they came from. When she was ten, Kilier received her Moko Kauae (tattoos specifically for Maori women). The double twist pattern that she - along with her brothers later on - gained represented the joining of the two cultures within her; her Maori culture and her European culture. The Koru - or spiral - pattern represented a new beginning as well as growth and harmony. The process was painful, yes, but not once did Kilier cry out, instead believing that the Moko was making her stronger somehow.
However, she grew up with a dislike towards her father. She would often hear him saying things to her mother about the conditions of their marriage and even threaten her over certain Maori traditions that his children had been 'forced' to undergo. It was because of this nasty temper and particular hate for her mother's culture that Kilier was always a troublemaker when it came to doing things her father wanted. She even protested to getting a wolf morph when the family went to Australia to visit their Aunt and cousin because it was what her father wanted, instead getting a dog morph that resembled a wolf in order to trick him. That dog morph happened to be similar to a Czechoslovakian wolfdog or a Saarloos wolfdog. The reason for the morphs unusual colouring has never been explained. Yet it was because of her father's unexpected death (unknowingly thanks to his children not loving him) that the small family permanently moved to Australia.
However, it was in Australia that tragedy struck the family once more. The reason why Kilier doesn't like trucks or deer is because of her mother's death thanks to a massive car accident that involved not only her mother's car, but also two big rig trucks and one lone deer. The result was that Kilier and her brothers were forced to live with their Aunt and cousin, under their Aunt's care as stated in their mother's will. And, of course, Kilier and Kratia didn't see eye to eye at first. To be honest, that still hasn't changed much, but at least there is some down time before any arguments break out. Not long after her mother's death, Kilier was given her mother's hei tiki necklace which had been passed through the family for generations and somehow survived the crash.
Even so, Kilier believes she has some kind of sixth sense that helps her create love matches with people. One such example would be aiding Luigi in helping get his brother and her cousin together. In fact, that was one of her more successful attempts at matchmaking. Sadly. many of these attempts failed one way or another despite everything being perfect. Her biggest problem, though, was discovering that she did like Lynk Haythen. At first, she thought that it was just a one way crush, especially since she had had a crush on Luigi at the time. But things got complicated when she was witness to Lynk showing her his true cyborg self and it took her quite some time for her to discover that she had actually fallen for him as well.
It was with a little help from Julien that Kilier finally figured out the truth about herself and gathered the courage to ask Lynk out, becoming his girlfriend in the process. Unfortunately, her family has a knack for falling pregnant as teens. It was the case with Kratia, with her Uncle's wife and its what happened to her. To be honest, no one was sure if Lynk could reproduce considering he was part machine, yet, despite the use of protection and other things that Lynk did to try and not harm Kilier, she still ended up falling pregnant. The only consolation in the panic that followed was that animals didn't abide by human laws; Kilier had fallen pregnant with Lynk's children while she was in her dog form. Regardless of everything, though, she still gave birth to three healthy pups (two male, one female) whom she and Lynk named Seth, Krieg and Hope. It was only later, once she and Lynk were married, that she decided she wanted another child, this time human born. And, once again, Lynk surprised them all when Kilier fell pregnant with their final child, a boy them named Brandon.
Despite all this, Kilier lived a relatively happy life. She worked as a part time matchmaker after gaining some help in the matter by her sisters-in-law when she wasn't working full time as a computer graphics designer (a talent she later found out about). Of course, she still fought with both people and objects, often taking her frustration out on the gym equipment that Lynk had set up.
But there is one debt that she would never be able to repay; the debt to one who saved her life. Still feisty enough to come to her leader's call whenever trouble arose, Kilier was one of the first to arrive to defend the territory against a rampaging wyvern. She was also the only female as only the strongest of the males had arrived to deal with the threat. This, of course, left her as a target within the wyvern's eyes and everyone knew it. But Choby Vitello still launched himself between the attacking beast and his fellow Rebel, taking his own life in order to save hers. Since that day, Kilier can often be found visiting Choby's grave and continuously thanking him for what he did. She even lost her job over her obsession with trying to figure out a way to repay the debt she now owed Choby and his family. It took a dream visit from Choby's spirit to get her back on track; him claiming that the debt she believed she owed him to be payed as long as she helped his family in their greatest time of need.
And help she did. If things got too rough for Ritara, Kilier was there in a flash, caring for the children and making Ritara relax as she helped her through the rough times. Ritara even helped her find a new job as a business manager in an electronics store. To her dying day, though, Kilier still swore that she had to repay Choby for saving her life by saving the life of someone close to him. And it was Choby who reassured her that the debt had been repaid when he personally went to guide her to the next life.
