Personality/Background: Unlike his brother and sister, Tangaroa was born in Australia. He was, however, conceived in New Zealand. He also doesn't remember his father, which both of his siblings are thankful for. However, under the same requirements of his parents marriage, Tangaroa was taken, at the age of ten, to get his traditional Ta Moko (maori tattoo) on the right side of his face. He was given markings that depicted the double twist to represent the combining of Maori and European heritage as well as the Manaia to represent spiritual care and guidance along the right side of his chin, jaw, nose and eye area, and the center of his forehead. At birth, he was given a Manaia necklace surprisingly by his father who, at the time, was planning his own demise.
When his father committed suicide, he was only one year old and so didn't understand why everyone was upset (or happy in the case of his siblings). All he knew was that something was going on and he didn't like it. And because his father was rarely home, he wasn't as fussed about him not being there, despite the fact that he was always trying to make everyone happy after his death. When happiness didn't work, Tangaroa would cry. But Tangaroa was extremely close to his mother before her accident and was practically glued to her hip. After her death, the then four year old would not stop crying. Going to petting zoos upset him as did the movie Bambi. Almost nothing seemed to work in calming him down. That was when his cousin, Kratia, took him to get his animal form... the one thing that his father was adamant about giving his children.
Life was pretty uneventful after that. He grew up liking to hit things so his brother directed his energy into martial arts with his aunt agreeing whole-heartedly. Thanks to watching too many superhero shows, he gained an insatiable urge to be like Superman which lead to him wanting to learn how to fly. Once his family found that out, they feared he would either turn out like his father or else meet an end similar to his father's.But their fears were unwarranted as he grew up learning about aircrafts from the best pilot that the family knew; his brother-in-law Lynk Haythen. Finally, by the time he was a young teen, he had found his first and only love. Though, meeting Mia Wolf had a few more changes occur within the young boy than no-one would have guessed. True there was the usual hormonal teenager in love thing that was going on, but one morning, Tangaroa woke up to find himself with wings attached to his usual wolf form. No one knows exactly how it happened (not even Julien and he was the first person the family went to upon the discovery), but Tangaroa had no worries about his new wings. He'd taken to them as if he had had them his entire life and was having way too much fun with them for his brother's liking.
In the end, his family had no choice but to let him live his life his own way. That meant that Tangaroa went to live with Mia in the wolf pack while he was in university, he gained a job as an air pilot and he had himself six healthy children - four boys and two girls - which he made sure to care for with his heart and soul. In fact, Tangaroa was quite successful in his life and always stood by his family whenever times were tough, even more so when news arrived that Zolo had been killed in action. And, unlike his father (to Kilier's relief), he lived to a ripe old age, witnessing the birth of his first great-grandchild before joining his brother in the great beyond.
