Personality/Background: Bria was born in Alaska in 1907 alongside her sister, Lusa. Her mother Nektoralik named her Ikkuma for the fiery temper she seemed to have but she later gained the name Bria from Lazer who kept thinking that she was another bear from one of his parents' nest stories. Of course, she was irritated at the bird for continuously getting her name wrong, but his stories intrigued her. Because of this, the golden eagle ended up growing on her to the point where she opted to help the Rebels retrieve anti-diphtheria serum in the 1925 serum run. By this time, she was a seasoned polar bear and had already had a number of polar bear cubs to a number of males, but she was intrigued by the fact that Lazer and his friends could also turn into humans and, as such, ended up returning to the year 2008 with the Rebels where she was forced to accept the harsh reality that was the Australian summer.
Adjusting to life as both part of a group and as a Rebel was hard for Bria. She often butted heads with a number of the other members including Lakshmi, Kratia and Conrad, but the one who gave her the most problems - in the beginning - was Zezana. Due to Bria's love of Lazer's stories, Zezana thought that the polar bear was trying to take her mate from her and so got extremely defensive whenever she saw the two together... despite the fact that Bria and Lazer ended up being quite good friends thanks to their journeys together through time since Bria joined the time travelers. In fact, Zezana and Bria's friendship didn't start until after Bria had gotten herself a mate of her own. Of course, that took its time because - even though it was love at first sight for Daniel - Bria was more interested in learning about the future/present to worry about finding love.
Eventually, Bria saw what she wanted in Daniel after watching him compete in a snowboarding competition. Unfortunately, Daniel had a hard time tying to find a balance between his girlfriend and his snowboarding, something which Bria often threatened him with whenever she had plans and he had to go out to train. But their love for each other always won out in the end, leading to the day where Daniel won his first gold medal in the Winter Olympic games and proposed to Bria with it shortly after receiving it. About eight months after celebrating their love and Daniel's Olympic win, Bria gave birth to her first children with Daniel, four healthy polar bear cubs; three girls and one boy. Daniel and Bria married when their cubs were seven months old. Their youngest son, Ethan, was born in 2018, ten years after Bria arrived in the future/present and seven years after his parents had gotten married.
Bria was a strong woman and, when she wasn't looking after her children to the point where she would throw her own life away (thanks to her natural instincts), worked as a swimming trainer. In fact, her training has given rise to swimming champions that have gone on to win national, international and Olympic championships and medals. Even her own daughter, Koyuki, became an Olympic swimming champion thanks to Bria's constant training. She only stopped being a trainer when an accident occurred in the pools that she worked at and that was not her doing; the fear of being unable to save a life taking swift hold after she was unable to save the life of a young boy who had slipped under the water's surface.
