Personality/Background: Dominic was born the only son in a half mute family. Both his father and one of his older sisters are mute. He's the oldest friend of Andrew Bennett, having been friends since preschool, and will almost always follow him everywhere... including into trouble. This trouble was often in the form of finding themselves getting lost in the city or getting beat up by gang members or feral animals. But one thing that Dominic was proud to follow Andrew in was getting an animal morph, though he chose his favourite animal - a snowy owl - over his friend's fox morph. What he didn't realise was that getting an animal morph for all of his friends was the start of Andrew's new 'big idea'; to start a gang of morphers like the one that was rumoured to have helped his cousin before his disappearance.
This gang was known as the Black Foxes and was only known amongst the student body of Cylus Beach High School. To anyone else outside of the school, they were just a group of friends trying to play tough. But even as a member of the Black Foxes, Dominic - or Silver as he was called by the rest of his friends - could tell that something was always on his best friend's mind... and it wasn't leading his little gang. It wasn't long before Dominic realised that his long time friend was beginning to obsess over his cousin's disappearance and even though he kept quiet about it when around the rest of the Black Foxes, he would often try to talk some sense into Andrew. Unfortunately, other members of the gang could also see this and five of their friends left the group. And when Dominic tried to explain to Andrew why they had left and why their three remaining friends were whispering behind their backs, Andrew led the two of them into even more trouble. This time, though, that trouble was even more dangerous than any of the others they had faced; Andrew had gotten them captured by scientists.
It was during his capture that Dominic learned that the scientists' boss was, in fact, the great-grandfather (on his mother's side) of his young cousin Liam Cosgroe, who was also mute. Because of this, the snowy owl morpher spend a lot of his time thinking about his family long after they were freed from the scientists' grasps. And still he followed Andrew as the fox morpher disbanded the Black Foxes and joined the Rebels Gang. In fact, it was because of Dominic that the five friends who had originally left the Black Foxes returned to them as new members of the Rebels, merging into the Renegade Rebels sub-gang along with the other half of their old group.
During his time as a Renegade Rebels member, Dominic fell in love with another student in his year at high school. Karry Embarrow was a gorgeous young woman and seemed to love the fact that Dominic to morph. Their love only lasted six months, however, as Dominic realised that Karry was using him and thinking that he was more like a pet to her. It took him a year to be able to trust a woman again and even when he did start again, he was still wary.
His second love, Jane Hubbard, tried to help him through his betrayal first as a friend in university (where he trained to become an engineer) and then as something more when Dominic proposed to her. And the birth of his first daughter, Annie, really helped Dominic with overcoming his trust issues. Sadly, Dominic was left with Annie as a single father when Jane went missing after going overseas. Dominic tried everything he could to not only provide for his daughter but also search for his fiance but he could not find anything and he knew little Annie needed a mother. After another two years, Dominic gave up the search for Jane fearing the worst had happened to her.
It was a few months later that Dominic met his third lover and eventual partner, Rosalee Smith. Rosalee was much like Dominic in the sense that she also had a child with a previous lover. Both Annie and Patrick took to each other like they were biological siblings and seeing them together made both of their parents realise where they were supposed to be. They were married within a year of them meeting and the two joined their families with the births of son Forrest and daughter Chelsea.
