Personality/Background: With four older siblings and five younger siblings, including a set of twins, Brutus often finds it hard to get any sort of attention from his parents. Because of this, he tends to put his heart and soul into his sports, particularly his basketball. And it's because of his obvious talent for the sport that his parents, thanks to the constant nagging of his siblings and teachers, have been forced to accept that talent... even if it is to keep that talent for basketball alive. His older brother, Carlo, often reassures Brutus that him and his basketball talent were not the only ones to be ignored by their parents; Carlo and his talent for music were also ignored.
Unfortunately, his love of basketball wasn't just ignored by his parents. From the very beginning, his long time friend, Mario Costa, detested Brutus' love of the sport. From their early years of pre-school right up until their late teenage years. In fact, it was thanks to Mario that Brutus even decided to become a margay. It was to mark their long term friendship. The funny thing was, no one knew just how far that friendship had gone until after Brutus had been accepted into the National Australian Basketball Team, the Australian Boomers, and had already left Australia for his first international game. It was obvious to every one that his first game away from home was a tough one for Brutus. But after receiving quite an aggressive phone call from Mario about not giving up (which ended in the two somehow confessing their love for each other) things took a turn for the better for the rest of the season.
Once Brutus was on home soil once more, both he and Mario took some time to be alone with each other. It was a couple of months later that Brutus decided that it was time for the two to let their friends and family know about them being a couple... and everyone was in shock at the news. Especially Brutus' youngest siblings and Mario's mother, who couldn't quite understand how both her children could be homosexual. Brutus wisely let Mario handle his mother's confussion, not wanting to be caught in any trouble. Surprisingly, though, it was Brutus' older sister, Denielle, who suspected that her little brother was gay... and she had those thoughts since he started high school.
It wasn't long before Brutus was head hunted for his basketball talents and he was offered a place in one of the best basketball teams in America. The position, however, meant that he could no longer call Australia his home. But the opportunity was too good to miss. So Brutus said his farewells to friends and family and started his new life in America, Mario following behind. While in America, the two kept in touch with their family and Australian friends, and they even got married. But one thing that never seemed to cross Brutus' mind was having children, no matter how hard Mario seemed to beg for a family. Mario eventually won him over and the two adopted a young girl whom they named Kassandra, but, unlike her fathers, Kassandra would not be able to morph into an animal unless she was of legal age and had the desire to (Brutus' rules).
