Personality/Background: Being an only child who was very sick at birth, and thus was spoilt rotten by her parents as a result, meant that Lilo grew up thinking that she would get whatever she wanted. And, of course, as she grew into her teenage years, that sort of thinking was challenged. A lot. Almost as soon as she had hit double digits, Lilo's stubbornness kicked in big time to the point where it bordered on aggression. Something that her parents soon realised that they had to somehow rectify... at least after they had realised their own part into how their daughter had grown up. And it only seemed to escalate after a job opportunity presented itself to Lilo's father when she was ten years old, where the family had to move from Hawaii to Australia.
It wasn't until after reaching Australia and having somewhat settled in to her new life that Lilo transformed into a carnotaurus for the first time. At the time, she had become quite emotional over everything that had happened to her; from suddenly not getting her way all the time to the whole move from Hawaii to Australia and thus breaking contact with a lot of her friends and family. Her parents had thought she had taken to the move quite well... that was until their daughter started growing a tail as she stormed into her room, a loud crash sounding from the room a few minutes later shortly followed by a rather loud (and rather frustrated) roar. Upon inspection (as well as fear for their daughter's safety) Lilo's parents rushed into the room themselves only to find their daughter had somehow morphed into a dinosaur.
After managing to calm Lilo down enough for her to return to her native human form, her parents began searching for someone to help her through not only her thoughts over what had happened but also the transformation and what to do about that. Their search led them to an older gentleman by the name of Kavic van Wuruhi who specialised in Psychology especially for morphers. It was through Mr van Wuruhi that the entire family discovered that they were all descendants of carnotaurus morphers... which was confusing in its own right thanks to the knowledge of the entire family being native Hawai'ians. What came next was a lesson in how morphers travelled the world even during the most ancient of times and how the morphing gene can lie dormant in many beings and for many generations, often emerging again during times of great stress or other, similar incidents. To help Lilo adjust to life as a morpher, Mr van Wuruhi introduced Lilo to his son, Julien Guerra, with the hopes that he would be able to help the young morpher in a more day to day setting.
Julien tried his best to help Lilo, but with things happening in his own life at the time, he quickly realised that he couldn't do what was needed to help her. The fact that Lilo didn't want to listen to a lot of things he said or wanted her to do probably didn't help in the matter. But things seemed to change one afternoon when Lilo met fellow morpher Emmaline Dramis who was over at Julien's house looking to borrow some more craft books for her own grafting ventures. The two started talking, quickly forming a friendship with each other, and Julien found himself talking to both his father and Lilo's parents about the possibility of Lilo being exposed to a group of other morphers her age, aka exposed to the more domestic aspects of the Rebels gangs. Thus Lilo found herself being introduced to the Rebels Ancients where, with the help of Emmaline, she seemed to integrate well with not being the only one who was a descendant of a creature that should have been classed as extinct.
Of course, it didn't take long before Lilo's more sensitive side appeared to the group. And it appeared in a more negative way than anyone expected. This was because, and especially when she was in her carnotaurus morph, Lilo became quite aware and quite aggressive of her surroundings whenever anyone approached her while in their own carnivorous morph. Thankfully she wasn't aggressive in the sense that she would attack her friends, but the aggression that she spoke with was enough of an attack to warrant care to be taken around her by everyone in the Rebels Gangs. Even worse, at least for Lilo, was that she knew what she was doing but couldn't seem to help it. It was Emmaline who suggested she try and learn some anger management skills to help her with dealing with the anger and subsequent fear she was feeling because of it.
Unfortunately for Lilo, her aggression, though significantly calmed since she started to implement Anger management skills into her life, still affected her daily life... and that included her love life. While in school, she had two boyfriends. Both of those young men broke off the relationship around three months after getting together. In her adult life, she ended up being married three times. Her first marriage to a Mr Zachary Pilchard ended in divorce after two years and with Lilo having to look after her eldest daughter, Abegaila (who was only one at the time), on her own thanks, in part, to her almost constant anger. Her second marriage to a Mr Kenaniah Whickett ended in much the same way... the only differences were that the marriage had lasted a year longer than the first, and that Lilo now had to look after a seven year old Abegaila as well as her seven months old son, Keanu. Believing her life to be cursed in some way, Lilo broke ties with the Rebels gangs and moved her two children back to Hawaii. She never expected to meet with her 'soulmate' once she returned.
Two years after moving back to Hawaii, with Abegaila now nine and Keanu now almost three, Lilo chanced upon a surfing tournament while during a work break. Admittedly, the surfing tournament reminded her of her time back in Australia and how she would usually sit on Cylus Beach and Haythen Beach and watch her friends playing around in the ocean, surfing and generally having fun. She did not expect to be greeted by one of the earlier competitors. James Iakopa had seen Lilo's sad but thoughtful looks and, after signing out of the competition due to not placing high enough to continue, had gone to see if she was okay. Somehow, Lilo found it easy to talk to the young surfer and before either of them knew it, they had exchanged numbers and had even agreed to meet up again for a coffee that same weekend. James didn't seem to care that Lilo was already a single mother to two, nor did he care that she had already been in two failed marriages previously. He merely laughed it off and, after some time seeing each other, asked Lilo to marry him alongside the words 'third time lucky?'. The two married eighteen months later, with James urging Lilo to get back in touch with her friends and family still in Australia at the same time. And, to be honest, Lilo found herself much happier for it. Even more so when she learned that she was pregnant to her third and final child, a little girl she and James names Alanna.
