Personality/Background: Ever since he was born Shiro has had a strong sibling rivalry with his older brother Anjou. That rivalry worsened to hatred after Shiro overheard the conversation that Anjou and his parents had after managing to safely return Anjou to the house after the older boy attempted to take his own life due to accidentally killed Luigi Forza during the Makai Massacre. From then on, Shiro started calling Anjou 'Shots', worsening their already rocky relationship. And Shiro was not kind to his older brother with the knowledge he now had about what had happened. Whenever he could, Shiro would often call out about what had happened, instigating fights between the two brothers. He never realised that Anjou tried to take his own life because of the fighting that he was causing until after he had been told off by his older sister Kinara who had rushed into the house after having been told about what had happened.
Shiro, however, never regretted what he did. The reason for this, though unexplained, was because he could sense the feelings of those around him when Anjou was around - and it was mostly fear that he could sense, even from the adults. Shiro hated being able to feel what others were feeling and he usually sought out his older brother to try and unknowingly release himself from his anger. It also didn't help that Shiro hated his brother for making everyone feel scared of him and so wanted to try and help those who were scared by trying to get rid of the thing that they feared.
When he was old enough, Shiro went to live on mainland Australia where he met his first wife, Bethany Smith. The two lived happily in Newcastle where they both worked, and eventually they had a daughter they named Angelina. Unfortunately, when Angelina was five, both Shiro and Bethany were in a car accident. Shiro managed to survive, but he had been badly injured and had to be put into an induced coma for fear of his injuries taking his life. It wasn't until after he had woken up that he discovered that Bethany hadn't been as lucky. Oddly, however, it was Anjou who was by his bedside when he woke up and explained the situation. At first, Shiro wanted to hate his brother even more after hearing the news, but it was the next things that Anjou said that made him rethink how he felt. The reason why Anjou was there in the first place was because Bethany's spirit had gone to him and explained everything that had happened to him. Anjou was the first family member to see Shiro in the hospital and he was the one who had told the rest of the family about what had happened. Anjou was also the one who was watching after young Angelina, who was distraught about what had happened. It was from then on that the rift between the brothers slowly began to mend.
It took Shiro a few more years before he accepted what had happened and was able to move on with his life, after which he started looking for a mother for his daughter who was now eight going on nine. He just never expected to meet that person during a parent teacher interview night at the school that Angelina went to, nor did he expect his daughter to already be friends with her future step-sister, Lillie Wilson. Lillie's mother, Adele, was a kind woman also looking for a partner and the two seemed to really understand each other. It wasn't long before they were married and everyone was surprised when Shiro's youngest child was born, a boy they named Meliodas but nicknamed Mel.
After finally settling down again, Shiro made sure to keep in touch with his older brother Anjou, continuing to mend their kinship as well as making sure that Anjou was involved in his children's lives in some way. Once all three of his children had moved out and started their own lives, Shiro and Adele moved back to Mythos island where they lived out their own lives. Finally, Shiro was able to live a happy life and passed onto the next life knowing that both he and Anjou were no longer trying to get at each other's throats.
